John T. Cane
John has over 34 years in the Customer
Service industry, 19 years of which he has been a Corporate Trainer, Motivational Speaker and Acting Teacher, inspiring over
100,000 teenagers and adults. For nine years he has represented John Casablancas in doing Self Improvement/ Self Esteem Workshops
at schools, as well as rewriting the Career School Curriculum nationwide.
In 1995, John moved to Charlotte to start
his own corporate training business (Edge Advantage, Inc.). He facilitates confidence workshops in North Carolina, South
Carolina, and New York. John has received numerous accolades from acting students for their increased confidence because
of his unique approach in teaching and personal coaching. Carolina Talent received Agency of the Year (Never received before
in the Acting Competition) at the AMTC convention in Florida, because of his contributions.
John currently facilitates
workshops (since 1999) at High Schools in North and South Carolina on Self-Esteem; Motivation, Confidence, Relationships,
Success in Life, and Teen Dating Issues.
With a background in Psychology, John has six separate certifications in
Personal Growth and Development. His Training Certifications to name a few, include Dating and Domestic Violence Workshops
for Teens, Zig Ziglar, Development Dimensions International, and Zenger Miller.
He was the Quality Assurance Specialist
with Bank of America, where he was responsible for Quality Control nationwide. While in this position he wrote the Corporate
Reference Manual and Corporate Training Manual. He was also the Business Etiquette Trainer. He wrote and presented the first
Business Etiquette Training program for Bank of America.
John has been a writer and editor for fifteen years, customizing
materials to suit client needs. He has taught over 200 different training programs, written and published two books, and
wrote/ co-produced a Safe Choices for Teens DVD. He is an instructor and acting coach for The Film Actors Studio
of Charlotte. He was President of the Carolina Screenwriters Association from 2006-2007, and is currently Vice President
and Treasure. John has been a model and actor for 25 years. He has appeared in print, commercials, and film.

His
